An immersive adult learning experience in sacred sound and structure. Prepare to chant from the Torah with confidence, exploring the kavannah (intention) and keva (structure) of Torah chanting in this supportive and practical 9-week group course. Whether you’re brushing up or starting from scratch, we’ll guide you through the art of cantillation (trop) — the ancient musical system that brings Torah text to life.

As we move toward the High Holy Days, this course offers a chance to deepen your connection to Torah through voice, rhythm, and meaning — and perhaps prepare to chant a short aliyah during the Yamim Noraim.

A foundation in the Aleph Bet is recommended for this course. Hebrew revision will be included as part of the learning.
