The High Holy Days are almost here, and we are beyond excited to celebrate with you!
At Shtiebel, we’ve crafted the perfect lineup for families to come together and enjoy joyful, meaningful, and hands-on experiences as we welcome the new year.
Start with Tashlich on Thursday, 3rd October at Caulfield Racecourse, where your family can symbolically cast away the past and embrace renewal in a serene setting—dogs are welcome, and there’s a great playground for the kids!
On Friday, 4th October, kick-off Rosh Hashanah with Sweet Beginnings, featuring delicious honey cake and apple juice, lovingly prepared by our wonderful volunteers. Then, engage in our Rosh Hashanah Family Program, filled with fun music and creative crafts, followed by a meaningful Family Service where we’ll blow the shofar together!
On Yom Kippur, bring your children for a special service on Saturday, 12th October, complete with a delightful puppet show retelling the story of Jonah, designed to engage young hearts and minds. End the day with the uplifting Ne’ila Closing Service, a time for reflection and community connection.
Plus, your kids will love the interactive music session led by Beth Riordan of Bops Music, where they’ll learn about Jewish traditions through play and song.
Don’t miss out on these joyful experiences — we invite you to either purchase a pass to get access to all our family services or simply choose the services that work best for you and your family.
